• Reclaimed tobacco sticks are farm tools reimagined
• Each is an artifact hand-cut from Kentucky wood, hewn to a standard of 52″ long, squared at roughly 1″, and pointed at each end
• Their original purpose was to hang tobacco leaves in ventilation barns to cure
• I found them stacked in a friend’s barn in 2011(they had stopped growing tobacco years prior) and by spring 2012 they received an award for most successful use of recycled materials
• Each is hand painted by me
